Internationally-renowned jazz composer and conductor Maria Schneider provides reassurance and inspiration as she talks about the ebb and flow of creativity in her own work.

Schneider is hailed around the world for her genre-defying, evocative music (she’s classically-trained but widely-known for orchestral jazz). She’s also a trailblazer for crowdfunding and artist control with her involvement in ArtistShare.

Schneider spoke with MajoringInMusic.com during a November, 2011 residency at the University of Colorado Boulder College of Music.
