Undergraduate students at the Baldwin Wallace Conservatory can earn a Bachelor of Music, Bachelor of Music Education, or Bachelor of Arts degree.
Majors with a Bachelor of Music (BM) degree include:

- Instrumental performance

- Music theatre
- Music theatre direction

- Vocal performance
Areas of emphasis include arts management, chamber music, composition, conducting, jazz, music history, pedagogy, sacred music, and theory.
The Bachelor of Music Education (BME) degree prepares students for a career in choral and instrumental music instruction for grades pre-kindergarten through twelve. The placement rates are 100% for music therapy and music education graduates who wish to work right away, and others move directly to the best graduate schools.
Majors with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) Degree include:

Performance opportunities abound at the Baldwin Wallace Conservatory. In addition to private study, recitals, and master classes; students perform in a variety of large and small ensembles, such as BW Singers, the Symphonic Wind Ensemble, the BW Symphony Orchestra, University Choir, Motet Choir, BW Singers, Jazz, Brass, Percussion and pit ensembles.
The Conservatory is fully accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music (NASM), and admits undergraduate students who are gifted both academically and musically. The selective application and audition process ensures quality students and balanced ensembles.

BW is offering on-campus visits, which include a guided campus tour and meeting with an admission counselor. Campus tours are limited to one student/family per tour and efforts to maximize the safety of our campus visitors and staff will continue as informed by the Ohio Department of Health and the CDC. If you’re not able to travel, we’re happy to meet with you virtually. Through virtual counselor appointments, BW admission counselors are available to answer your questions through a one-on-one video call. You can tailor the appointment to your individual needs during the registration process.
